Brewin Dolphin, one of the largest independent private client
investment managers in the UK, is pleased to announce the expansion
of its Shrewsbury Branch. Andrew Barr, Verity Criddle and
William Eyre all joined the team as Divisional Directors this week,
with Rupert Harvey also arriving as an Assistant Director. Between
them they have over 70 years experience in investment management
for private clients and they will significantly strengthen Brewin
Dolphin’s investment services in Shropshire.
Brian Price, Divisional Director in Shrewsbury said “We
are delighted with the expansion of the team here, which brings our
office up to nine investment managers and staff and we expect
further joiners within the year. We specialise in providing
personal investment management solutions for our private, pensions
and charity clients.”
In order to accommodate these developments, the Brewin Dolphin
Shrewsbury office is moving to new premises this weekend. The new
office, which can be found in Mutual House in the Shrewsbury
Business Park to the south east of the town centre, offers very
fine views of the Shropshire hills and a superb environment for the
team and visiting clients alike.
The Brewin Dolphin Shrewsbury office has already established
itself locally and is supporting a team of four girls in their
efforts to raise funds for Breast Cancer Campaign. The girls will
be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in February next year and intend to
raise over £25,000. As a prelude to their climb they are
organising a prestigious fashion show that is being held in
Alington Hall at Shrewsbury School on the 28th October 2010.
Henry Algeo, Regional Managing Director of Brewin Dolphin for
Scotland and the West, said, “There is so much good news
coming out of Shrewsbury and I am especially pleased to welcome
Andrew, William, Verity and Rupert, four senior investment
managers, to the Brewin Dolphin Group.”
The Brewin Dolphin Group manages £23 billion of funds for
over 130,000 private clients. Brewin Dolphin has 41 offices
throughout the UK and Channel Islands and Brewin Dolphin Corporate
Advisory and Broking is adviser to 90 small and medium size quoted
companies and institutions.
